It can seem very tempting to want to use AI for your lead generation and nurture, and lots of marketing companies are promising it. The promise of giving you back time and mental energy seems is quite appealing.

Apart from the energy demands of AI, you’ve no doubt seen some bad AI generated images and texts already.

Humans are particularly repulsed by something called “The Uncanny Valley” – a common unsettling feeling people experience when androids or humanoid robots and audio/visual simulations closely resemble humans in many respects but aren’t quite convincingly realistic. People will always need health and human connection, no matter how good technology gets. We’re not just selling programs, or even just pure results, when we advertise our gyms. We’re selling a human being who actually understands the customer and cares about their health goals. AI can’t do that! But you can, you can be the deeply empathetic human who finally listens to their problems and provides the best solution. After all, that’s why you can charge a premium above all the other paint-by-number approaches that have failed your members before they come to you.
